I'm sure no one would be upset if you volunteered to fix the Borland build 
for 5.16.  That is, after all, why things get dropped: no one wants to put 
in the effort therefore it isn't important enough to keep anymore.

Or you can keep using 5.005, which may be preferable if that is all you 
need.  For some companies, that is their latest production version after 
all and they're happy enough where they are.
