No no, please; don't hold up 5.14.  It's just a bit weird/unexpected is all.
I'm still getting used to all of it.

And yes, on the other stuff, I do indeed get differing behavior on this
locale stuff on Darwin compared with on Linux.  Some of those didn't
trigger on one or the other of them; I forget which, now.
