I knew that perl-5.12.3 would be a very minor set of changes, but I thought it
would be nice to share just how successful we have been at having a nice,
stable maint version. Pending any further cherry picking, this paragraph will
appear in perl5123delta:
Perl 5.12.3 represents approximately three months of development since
Perl 5.12.2 and contains approximately 500 lines of changes across 17 files
from 5 authors.
Compare to 5.8.3 with around 30,000 +/- lines, or 5.10.1, with hundreds of
thousands of lines touched. It's very exciting!
