Dearest Porters,
It does not thrill me to have to say this, but this thread has devolved
to the point where people are just getting bent out of shape and it's
not helping us to work toward a useful resolution. I've had a number
of individuals contact me in private and ask me to end this discussion.
I'd like _everyone_ involved to take 72 hours off from this discussion.
That'd be until Wednesday, 2010-12-09 at 20:00 GMT. If I see replies
on the thread that weren't obviously written before I sent this, I'm
going to ask Robert and Ask to put the list into moderation mode.
