Perlbug problem: Reopened #37836: Simple Regex causes SEGV when runon specific data and email didn't go to p5p

I reopened this ticket because the test for it is wrong.  (The problem 
occurred for bracketed character classes, but the test used a class that 
gets optimized into an EXACT node, and hence doesn't actually test the fix.)

But the point of this email is that I toggled the field that says to 
send email to p5p, and nothing showed up.  And this isn't the first time 
that has happened.  So there is a bug in the RT software.
