Can you please try building that perl by hand and let us > know at what step Configure is failing? I tried by hand. Apart from Configure saying "/bin/less -R" doesn't exist (I had to change it to /bin/less), configure did not fail. Make worked; however make test failed: t/run/exit.....................................................# Failed at run/exit.t line 68 # Failed at run/exit.t line 69 # got "0" # expected "42" # Failed at run/exit.t line 88 # Failed at run/exit.t line 89 # Failed at run/exit.t line 90 # got "0" # expected "15" FAILED at test 7 ... t/op/stat......................................................# Failed at op/stat.t line 94 # Failed at op/stat.t line 215 FAILED at test 5 ... cpan/Test-Harness/t/source.....................................# Failed test '... file->lstat set' # at t/source.t line 273. # got: '0' # expected: '13' FAILED at test 39 I suspect that there may also be a problem with Test::Smoke than with Perl. I'll file a bug report there. > > Thanks! > > Steve Peters > steve@fisharerojo.org <mailto:steve@fisharerojo.org> -Nigel -- Nigel Horne.
