I have currently a "parallel smoker" running testing CPAN distributions with two perls, 5.12.1 and 5.12.2-RC1. So far ~10000 distributions are tested and there seem to be no regressions. The smoker is still running. I plan to test at least 14000 distributions (everything released since 2005).
