Sadly, also, I don't have any good suggestions on how to fix this, and actually get the bug count down (without compromising standards). Which is frustrating, because I believe that if we did have a viable plan on how to convert money to bug fixing, we'd find it relatively easy to raise moderate sums, from firms such as booking.com, who find that their desire for altruism is in close alignment with their need for visibility for recruiting. [Likewise, if sponsoring a Perl conference or a Perl mongers group meeting costs you 10% of a recruiter's fee, but gives you a 20% chance of recruiting someone direct and hence not needing to pay a recruiter, well, do the maths :-)] Nicholas ClarkThread Previous | Thread Next
