Today, I tested Perl 5.12.1-RC1 just with its own suite and came up with this:

=====

$ TEST_JOBS=3 make test_harness
<snip>
../ext/POSIX/t/posix.t ............................................ ok
<snip>
All tests successful.

Test Summary Report
-------------------
../ext/POSIX/t/posix.t                                          (Wstat: 0 Tests:
66 Failed: 0)
   TODO passed:   11
Files=1804, Tests=357697, 445 wallclock secs (55.06 usr 21.01 sys + 425.15 cusr
69.45 csys = 570.67 CPU)
Result: PASS

=====

So it appears that the tests all passed, and 11 of those were marked TODO, if
I'm reading this correctly.

My test machine in this case is Mac OS X 10.6.3 on Intel Core 2 Duo with 2GB of RAM.

The important thing is that on essentially the same machine the test suite of
5.12.0 had failed, as I and others had reported, while 5.12.1 doesn't fail, so
that problem solved.

Following are the build settings I used.

I will also test some CPAN modules, and won't report again if there are no problems.
