Let's not turn things on their heads here.  The assertion was that or is
somehow easier to read or clearer than ||.  Because for me or is harder to
read and less clear than || that assertion is disproven.  I am not trying
to make others think like me and to say that I am is to turn the matter on
its head.  I simply reject their premise that or is ipso facto superior to
|| and I don't want to see that position promulgated as the gospel it is not.
