Hello Nicolas,
I just saw that a couple fixes were applied to maint-5.8 recently, OK,
this year :-).
Would it be possible that the following goes to maint-5.8 ?
in perl.c in release 5.8.9, line 3727 is if (*suidscript) {
should be if (*suidscript != 1)
With this fix suidperl will work again.
I know that the suidperl is removed from bleed.
Just in case that there will be a 5.8.10 (maybe due to a security fix,
...) this
little fix would also solve the suidperl problem.
