I build a fresh rsync'ed perl on /pro/3gl/CPAN/perl ...
Should this work?

$ cat `which perl5.11.0`
#!/bin/sh
export PERL5LIB=/pro/3gl/CPAN/perl/lib:${PERL5LIB:-.}
exec /pro/3gl/CPAN/perl/perl $@
$ perl5.11.0 Makefile.PL
... Detected uninstalled Perl. Trying to continue.
