Did I?

I can't find the PAUSE indeexer report for 5.8.9-RC1, but I can for 5.8.8-RC1
and 5.8.8. The indexer told me that every single module in 5.8.8-RC1 was

status: Not indexed because permissions missing. Visit PAUSE and
click "View Permissions" to find the legitimate
             maintainer(s).

whereas 5.8.8 itself was just fine.

So, evidence does not suggest that I had it anything different.

Also, both http://search.cpan.org/~dapm/perl-5.10.1-RC1/ and
http://search.cpan.org/~nwclark/perl-5.8.9-RC2/ say "** DEVELOPER RELEASE **"
I can't see any structural differences between its presentation of each.
