I've chewed my way through the backlog of changes, and perl5101delta is
now pretty much up to date:

http://perl5.git.perl.org/perl.git/blob/maint-5.10:/pod/perl5101delta.pod

Whilst this is Dave's branch, I'm guessing I'm not out of line by saying:

There's still some things to do, and that's where *you* come in. In no
particular order, it

a: Needs proofreading
b: Needs someone to take care of resolving each of the "XXX"s
c: Needs checking

In particular, the section "=head2 Updated Modules" needs your TLC.
It's meant to be in alphabetical order. It's updated by hand, and I believe
that it is in order, but it would be good for someone to check.

Also, right now, it's very bare. It just says what was updated, from which
version to which version. If you want, you can adopt a module from it, look
at that module's changes (from git, or from the changelogs in the
distributions if they're from CPAN), and write a short paragraph summarising
its changes. For an example, see what Jerry Hedden provided for threads
and threads-shared in
http://search.cpan.org/dist/perl-5.8.9/pod/perl589delta.pod#Updated_Modules

Meanwhile, there's also the list of bugs to triage, and preferably solve:

    http://rt.perl.org/rt3/Public/Search/Simple.html?Query=MemberOf%3D66092

Get your own special personal copy with:

    git clone git://perl5.git.perl.org/perl.git perl-git
    cd perl-git
    git checkout -b maint-5.10 origin/maint-5.10

and help get this ship of the desert ship-shape.
