So, does anyone feel like taking rsync://ftp.linux.activestate.com/perl-5.8.x/
and doing any of

1: verifying that every e-mail address in Changes is in AUTHORS, and compiling
a patch that adds everyone that isn't.
(Preferably spotting if any new address have existing e-mail address, and if
so changing the address in AUTHORS, and adding the old->new mapping to
    Porting/checkAUTHORS.pl)

2: taking Porting/cmpVERSION.pl and comparing the maint-5.8 against 5.8.8
(release) and 5.10.0 (release) to make sure that all files that are
   different have different VERSIONs.

3: taking Porting/Maintainers.pl, identifying dual life modules, finding
their VERSION, and compare against a clean checkout of the same VERSION from
CPAN, to make sure that files that claim to be the same are the same.
(This one is definitely incremental - every single one helps, so (say) just
saying "I checked Digest::MD5 and it's the same as CPAN is a start, as I
   can collate a list)

4: Likewise identifying dual life modules, skimming Changes, and suggesting
the summary item for them for pod/perl589delta.pod

Help gratefully received. It doesn't matter if you say "yes I can" then later
say "er, sorry I can't actually". It does hinder if you say "yes" then stall.
