Change #33316 fixes that in a rather strange way, by adding a "no
warnings" in the part where it prints the failing diagnostics. Some
handler getting in the way, I think.

But now:

$ ./perl TEST op/pat.t
t/op/pat....Unbalanced string table refcount: (1) for
"charnames_scripts" during global destruction.
Unbalanced string table refcount: (1) for "charnames_full" during
global destruction.
Unbalanced string table refcount: (1) for "charnames" during global destruction.
Unbalanced string table refcount: (1) for "charnames_short" during
global destruction.
ok
All tests successful.
