Hi Vadim,

with recent bleadperls your Tcl 0.95 starts failing when the perl is
compiled with -Doptimize=-g. You can see the error during compilation
here:

http://www.nntp.perl.org/group/perl.cpan.testers/2007/10/msg713026.html

This new assertion was brought to you by this patch:

    (http://public.activestate.com/cgi-bin/perlbrowse/p/31941)
    Change 31941 by nicholas@nicholas-fangorn on 2007/09/23 07:20:49

        Under -DDEBUGGING (on gcc), assert that SvRV(sv) is being called on
        a valid SvTYPE().

If you have further questions, please follow up on perl5-porters.

Thanks,
