POD2 files are just normal perldoc, but installed in a parallel directory tree,
as looking at a sample file should clarify, for example:

  http://search.cpan.org/src/ENRYS/POD2-IT-0.11/IT/perl.pod

By the way, the perldoc command line tool supports the -L flag
in bleadperl, so that you will be able to do:

 $  perldoc -LIT perl

But this isn't yet released to CPAN - please feel free to test
http://greenokapi.net/svn/code/Pod-Perldoc/  which folds in this
change, and for which I'm hoping to make tuits to release next week :-)
