I'd like to know if the MAD stuff is anything that would interest me and
whether I can do anything with it. Browsing the source is not enough to
get me started. So here is my list of Frequently Asked Questions, where
"frequently asked" is defined as the questions asked the most. Since I
don't thing any questions have been asked yet, these qualify as
"frequently asked". ;-)

If I get some good answers, I'll compile them into a FAQ doc for future
reference.

What is MAD?

What is it for?

Is there any documentation anywhere?

Does it work? What is its current state?

How can I try it out?

Can I do @x with it? I'll fill in @x when I have some clue what it is.

How can I help?
