Hi,

While working with perl-5.8.8/jpl I encountered the
following problem:

I was able to compile/install/and run successfully
jpl/Sample, but failed on running jpl/Test.

Here is the run-time erros I was getting:

java Test
Exception in thread "main"
java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: no Test in
java.library.path
        at
java.lang.ClassLoader.loadLibrary(ClassLoader.java:1682)
        at
java.lang.Runtime.loadLibrary0(Runtime.java:822)
        at
java.lang.System.loadLibrary(System.java:993)
        at Test.<clinit>(Test.java:114)

 java Test
Can't get method id for JPL::Test::v(()V)
Exception in thread "main" java.lang.RuntimeException:
Can't get method id for JPL::Test::v(()V)
        (in cleanup) Can't get method id for
JPL::Test::myint(()V)

        at Test.printfields(Native Method)
        at Test.<init>(Test.java:18)
        at Test.main(Test.java:126)

Please note that perl-5.8.8 was configured as:

sh Configure --prefix= somedir -Duseshrplib -DJPL

hint=recommended, useposix=true, d_sigaction=define
    usethreads=undef use5005threads=undef
useithreads=undef usemultiplicity=undef
    useperlio=define d_sfio=undef uselargefiles=define
usesocks=undef
    use64bitint=undef use64bitall=undef
uselongdouble=undef
    usemymalloc=n, bincompat5005=undef

Thanks,
sakina
