[PATCH] t/op/hashwarn.t using test.pl
Message ID:

This patch

   - rips out the hand-rolled testing routines.
   - matches the emitted warnings with substr/length instead of regexps
   - ensures that each test produces only the expected warnings
   - which removes the need to test at the end of the script if any
uncaught warnings were left behind.

As I was patching this, I wanted to write

   ok($expr,'msg') or diag($context);

but test.pl doesn't offer a diag() function. It does offer a _diag()
function though. Is there any chance (or desire) to make a diag() available?

Thanks,
David
