This is a bug report for perl from guy@sicher.maurel.de,
generated with the help of perlbug 1.35 running under perl v5.8.8.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
[Please enter your report here]
hier the perl-file abc:
==========================
#!/usr/bin/perl
use warning;
$zahl_octal=0378;
==========================
hier the command to run it:
perl abc

hier the output:
==========================
Can't locate warning.pm in @INC (@INC contains: /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.8/i686-linux /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.8 /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8/i686-linux /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.8 /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl .) at abc line 2.
BEGIN failed--compilation aborted at abc line 2.
==========================

hier a solution of mine:
# cd /usr/local/lib/perl5/5.8.8
# ln -s warnings.pm warning.pm

But it doesn't realy solve the real problem
but I get a warning message:
==========================
Illegal octal digit '8' at abc line 4, at end of line
Execution of abc aborted due to compilation errors.
==========================

Thanks for helping

guy
