This is a bug report for perl from root@midway.uhs.med,
generated with the help of perlbug 1.35 running under perl v5.8.7.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
When using the latest version of Telnet.pm, there is a problem
with the input_log parameter. The following coded produces
an error (which is cut and pasted after the code):

#!/usr/bin/perl -w
use Net::Telnet;

$telnet=Net::Telnet->new(Timeout=>300,Errmode=>'return',input_log=>STDOUT);
$telnet->open('aixlaw') or die "die on open";
$telnet->login("root","elab0r8");
$telnet->cmd("df -k");
$telnet->close;

Use of uninitialized value in index at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.7/Net/
Telnet.pm line 370.
Use of uninitialized value in length at /usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.8.7/Net
/Telnet.pm line 376.

Reverting back to the 3.02 version of Telnet.pm yields the desired result
(The output of the command is displayed on-screen.)
