[perl #37362] Perl ./Configure problem

Hi All,
 
when i run the ./Configure command it is giing the following error.
 
 ./Configure --prefix=/opt/perl/5.8.7
./Configure: c111915: cannot create
./Configure: c211915: cannot create
./Configure: sharp: cannot create

Then i run the following script as per the instructions 
 
./myconfig.SH 
 
but is showing the follwing message
 
 ./myconfig.SH
Can't find the perl config.sh file produced by Configure

Please help as to how tho resove this.
