I can use perlcc on a Solaris 8 box, at least for trivial programs. I've
never tried it for anything significant.
What version of perl is this for?
When you say you "do not get any output", do you literally mean "no
output" of any kind? On the two versions I have handy, 5.00503 and 5.8.6,
I at least get a usage message from perlcc if I try to run it without any
arguments at all. Running 'perldoc perlcc' gives me the perlcc man
page.
