Hi,

just downloaded perl-5.8.6 and tried to build it but the build fails
with the following error.

- -----------------8<-----------------
`sh cflags "optimize='-O2'" miniperlmain.o` miniperlmain.c
~ CCCMD = cc -DPERL_CORE -c -fno-strict-aliasing -pipe
- -I/usr/local/include -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64
- -I/usr/include/gdbm -O2 -Wall
In file included from perl.h:37,
~ from miniperlmain.c:36:
config.h:1307:22: '#' is not followed by a macro parameter
- -----------------8<-----------------

The line of interest is the following:

- ---------------------8<---------------------
#define Drand01()               (#() / (double) ((unsigned long)1 <<
31)) /**/
- ---------------------8<---------------------

I've compiled perl many times but have not had any problems this is the
first time. Have I done something wrong? Or should I file a bug report.

If you need more information I'll provide it.

thx

Tom
