gcov coverage for the core

I used gcov to get C statement level coverage for the core. It takes a long
time to run make test this way. :-)

I've put the results online, if anyone is interested. You can get 1.5M of

It's bleadperl, patchlevel 23712 built without threads, with -g, on x86
FreeBSD 5.3 with FreeBSD's gcc 3.4.2
