This is a bug report for perl from,
generated with the help of perlbug 1.34 running under perl v5.8.3.

[Please enter your report here]

This program crashes my perl during compilation (ie, when run with -c).
It's fairly sensitive to the details: removing one of the my variables, the
right side of the assignment, or the prototype all cause perl to give an
appropriate syntax error.

    sub bar (&);
    sub foo {
        my ($a, $b) = @_;
        bar sub { and };

This is the backtrace from debugperl in the Debian perl-debug package. (I
don't know why it doesn't have line numbers.)
