This is a build failure report for perl from,
generated with the help of perlbug 1.35 running under perl v5.8.4.

[Please enter your report here]

PerlIO buggy:

$ cat | ./perl
cat: stdin: Resource temporarily unavailable

This is from a regular login session. I'm not sure how PerlIO manages to
confuse the tty sufficiently to mess up cat. Sometimes I have to press return
once before I get the error, so it appears to be some sort of race condition.

sed appears to suffer the same problems, but it doesn't issue an error
message. I wonder if it's buggy and doesn't check ferror() when it gets
EOF. I guess I need to install sedbug to report this. :-)

Bug also present in blead.
