It's believed that MyDoom.B doesn't have the saturation of the original, so it's not known if it will be as effective against MS's greater resources. I should say about my comment earlier that I do not in any way condone the attack on SCO or MS. It is nothing less than a terrorist attack: a politically motivated attack by a person or organization to force or coerce change. It makes the open source community look bad.
