OK. I'd guess that something in threads.xs doesn't build on Windows
(or at leats on Steve Hay's configuration)

I hope that he's in this coming week and has time to forward a log
(or someone else is able to replicate this on Windows)

There's not snapshot because this isn't resolved. If we can't resolve it
any other way within the next 10 days or so I'll back out the threads
changes from maint, and they will have to wait until 5.8.4
