Hi,
previously there was a discussion on clpm regarding the merrits or
non-merrits of
package Bla;
require Exporter;
@ISA = qw(Exporter);
versus the simpler and cleaner
package Bla;
use base qw(Exporter);
Since the latter doesn't seem to have any drawbacks, I suggest changing
the code examples in the PODs relating to Exporter. The patch addresses
lib/Exporter.pm and pod/perlmod.pod. A quick grep through the PODs
didn't produce any more occurances, yet there might be some somewhere
else.
