No code that excercises this problem, otherwise it would have gotten 
reported earlier  ;-(

I'm pretty entrenched in 2 projects at the moment and don't really 
have the time to do stuff with blead.  I promise I'll try any 5.8.2 
snapshots with all of my Thread:: modules to ensure proper 
functioning...  ;-)
