I thought some programs (PAUSE?) already support the new spec extension (private file/directory/package/namespace directives) as concluded here http://www.xray.mpe.mpg.de/mailing-lists/perl5-porters/2003-05/msg00089.html (the thread started here: http://www.xray.mpe.mpg.de/mailing-lists/perl5-porters/2003-05/msg00006.html). mod_perl 2.0 will certainly need to use it once it's released on CPAN (because it bundles other packages). Though Philippe points out that http://module-build.sourceforge.net/META-spec.html doesn't include those changes. Is that the right place to lookup the spec? Since it's used not only by Module::Build, shouldn't it reside somewhere in a more common place? may be its own package on CPAN? In any case whom should I nudge to update the spec? Thanks. __________________________________________________________________ Stas Bekman JAm_pH ------> Just Another mod_perl Hacker http://stason.org/ mod_perl Guide ---> http://perl.apache.org mailto:stas@stason.org http://use.perl.org http://apacheweek.com http://modperlbook.org http://apache.org http://ticketmaster.comThread Next
