Some results:

(1) Tru64 5.1B +
    cc V6.5-011

    All tests successful.

(2) IRIX 6.5.21 +
    cc MIPSpro Compilers: Version 7.3.1.1m

    All tests successful.

(3) Solaris 8 +
    Sun WorkShop 6 update 2 C 5.3 Patch 111679-12 2003/05/18

    All tests successful.

(Note: the ccversion parsing in Solaris hints seems to get
the above Sun Workshop version wrong, the ccversion ends up
     as being 'workshop'.)

(4) AIX 5.1.0.0 +
    vac 6.0.0.0

    All tests successful.

(Note: instead of 6.0.0.0 ccversion was empty, needs investigation.)

(5) Mac OS 10.2.6 +
gcc version 3.3 20030304 (Apple Computer, Inc. build 1493)

The warnings.t is this:
