Since my trusty cygwin tester Gerrit must have been eaten by a grue
(or maybe SoBig.F), I really could use cygwin help in finding out what
happened with getpwent() recently. Merijn.H is unfortunately
disqualified because his cygwin setup works just fine... that it
works for him but not for me or Gerrit is of course (probably) useful
information.

Should you choose to accept this mission, you should (have (win32 and)
cygwin and) start compiling the maint snapshots. The task is to first
locate the snapshot that broke op/pwent.t (so you can build just
miniperl), and then to locate the patch. Brokenness is easy to detect:
the pwent.t will dump core. The snapshot 20558 was still good, IIRC.
The snapshots are available at
http://onion.perl.org/~robert/jhi/maintsnap/
