[ANNOUNCE] base.pm 2.0

I've seperated the CPAN version of base.pm and fields.pm from Class::Fields
while still allowing Class::Fields to work.

The new distribution is going up to CPAN now
http://www.pobox.com/~schwern/src/base-2.0.tar.gz

It stands alone and should be fully backwards compatible with the core
base/fields.pm and contain all the bug fixes from the bleadperl version.

Performance is good and its suitable for inclusion into the core thus ending
the CPAN fork.

I have little desire to continue maintaining this and would welcome someone
to take over the CPAN version.
