Yes. Currently it's basically perl 5.6.1 + changes 20325, 203026, and 20328.
You can begin by trying to build 5.6.1. It works for me on AIX 4.3.3 + gcc.
It doesn't work on AIX 5.2, even if I blindly copy the hints/aix.sh from
maintperl (it gets d_socket and d_times wrong.)
