It's not difficult to "remember". My inbox has a memory of >10000 messages
that need acting upon in some way. Mass delete doesn't really feel like
a sensible option.

I can now delete this thread, and the thread where Alan sent the patch.
Two threads successfully concluded :-) Many more to go :-(
