This is a bug report for perl from knutsen@yahoo.com,
generated with the help of perlbug 1.34 running under perl v5.8.0.
-----------------------------------------------------------------
>From "perldoc -f defined" (Perl 5.8.0 on Red Hat 9) :
You may also use "defined(&func)" to check whether subroutine
&func has ever been defined. The return value is unaffected by
any forward declarations of &foo. Note that a subroutine which
is not defined may still be callable: its package may have an
"AUTOLOAD" method that makes it spring into existence the first
time that it is called -- see perlsub.
Where did "&foo" come from? Should probably be "&func", yes?
Also appears to be in 5.6.1 docs.
