Now that recent changes in breaking out of Configure on unsupported
combinations of requested features is setteling down, I still cannot explain
why AIX rejects longdoubles when compiling with gcc. (It *is* supported, as
the vac builds show).

Any takers for an analisys? If the cause is clear, I might find the time for a
cure :)
