This is a bug report for perl from robmenke@mac.com,
generated with the help of perlbug 1.33 running under perl v5.6.1.

In Cwd.pm 2.04, the chomp in _backtick_pwd assumes that the $/
is set to newline.  If the $/ variable has been set to anything
else, the trailing newline is not removed.
