Last night while re-writing the README I didn't know what the best solution
was. My concern was that I knew the page could no longer be completely
up-to-date because p5p has been editing Storable, but I wasn't sure how out
of date it was.

Last I started by assuming the page wouldn't change, and so I didn't know
whether it was better to have a link in to a page that is somewhat out of
date but still useful, or not have the link because so many things have
changed since the translation that it's more of a hindrance than a help.

However...

The best solution would be if he could update his page to a translation of
the current Storable manpage. However, it doesn't feel very polite asking
someone I don't know to do a considerable amount of work, particularly
when I'm aware that the "current" Storable manpage is a moving target.
(As I don't know any Japanese speakers personally, by "someone I don't know"
I mean him, yourself, Dan Kogai and anyone else who could make a translation.)

Hopefully the only changes there will now be are minor corrections, and
grammar and style improvements, so a translation done now wouldn't become
wasted effort in the near future because of more changes.

But I still feel bad asking someone else to do something which is potentially
futile.

If it is possible to make a Japanese translation of the current manpage would
it make sense to include a Japanese translation of the README in the
distribution? Or is the current .jp URL in the English README enough to
alert Japanese speakers to it?
