This is a bug report for perl from jlawrenc@www.infonium.com,
generated with the help of perlbug 1.28 running under perl v5.6.0.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
[Please enter your report here]

On my linux at least (RedHat 7.1) op/exec.t fails test 6 for 5.6.1 and
bleedperl.

Please consider amending code around line 35 to include yet another
string to test against:

t/op/exec.t snippet follows:

$rc = system "lskdfj";
if ($rc == 255 << 8 or $rc == -1 and
     (
      $! =~ /not a directory/i or
      $! == 2 or
      $! =~ /\bno\b.*\bfile/i or
      $! == 13 or
      $! =~ /permission denied/i
     )
   )
 {print "ok 6\n";} else {print "not ok 6\n";}

/snippet

as the $! text for this arch is "Not a directory" for some odd reason.

virtually yours,
Jay
