Well, if the -Wall looks like it will bother module authors too much,
we can of course turn it off for the 5.8 maintenance branch (while
still leaving it on for the devel branch), now that we've -Wall'ed
the core code. I know from experience that cleaning up code to be
-Wall-compliant can be painful: there's not much point inflicting -Wall
indiscriminately on all module authors.
