[ID 20010719.002] Install help

Hello, I downloaded 5.005 for Solaris 2.5.1 from a Sunfreeware mirror.
I put it into a temp directory I called /perl and did gzip -d filename.
According to the Sunfreeware site these packages are all in pkgadd
format
so I used it and it created files/dirs uner /usr/local - seemed to go
smoothly.

Then following the readme instructions, I used
rm -f config.sh and sh Configure which I issued from the directory
/usr/local/doc/perl where the Configure files is located.
I am getting errors that show that basically everything is "No such file
or directory"
did I miss a step or something else? or is the kit damaged as the
install exit suggests?

Thanks,
