Hi, I've used CVS a lot, particularly in my hard-core perl days. I've started somewhere new, and we're looking at revision control. So far perforce is looking and sounding good, and we've heard good things about StarTEAM (but not about VSS!). Would anyone be happy to share thoughts and experiences, particularly if you've switched from CVS to perforce or another system. What are the things you need to re-learn (eg branches), and do you think you made the right decision. Hope this isn't too off-topic: this was the best group of people I could come up with who will have the same concerns and questions as me :-) Neil PS yes, we've searched for relevant stuff online, read the CVS/perforce comparisons available online, know about the Ovum report, etc. more after war stories, personal experience - quick "switched from CVS to perforce, very happy" type responses would be great
