Hi, I have been searching around to see if this bug has been reported before but I can't see any reports of it. I'm using an older version of perl, version 5.005_02 built for sun4-solaris. When I use the 'perl -c' command to check syntax for an incorrect spelling of 'chomp', i.e. 'chmop' , it does not report any error and the program runs until it comes to the line with 'chmop' in it and fails. I realize this is an older version of perl and apologies if it has been reported before. Regards, P. O'SheaThread Next
