-Duse64bitint and binary compatibility, sigsetjmp revisited

I'm trying to figure out my canonical set of options for building 5.6.1
when it comes out. Am I correct in assuming that -Duse64bitint implies
-Ubincompat5005? I can't see how 5.6.1 can be binary compatible with
5.005 if the size of an IV has changed.

Also, what happened to the enabling/disabling of sigsetjmp? I know
there was a lot of discussion in this area, and talk of a workaround to
remove the use of sigsetjmp, but did it make it into 5.6.1?

Thanks,

Alan Burlison
