[ID 20010309.003] test failures in perl 5.6

This is a bug report for perl from michael@etla.org,
generated with the help of perlbug 1.26 running under perl 5.00503.

-----------------------------------------------------------------
[Please enter your report here]

This bug report is for perl 5.6.0.

t/op/stat test 35 tests for at least one setuid program in
/bin or /usr/bin. It has been reported that not all systems
are configured like this, and thus the test fails incorrectly.

(originally spotted by a friend who was unable to mail
perl.com due to the spam checking (on a host that is not a spam
haven), bounced it to perlbug@perl.org, and didn't see anything
come back.

Michael
